The Lyndon Baines Johnson Institute for the Study of Presidential Crime is an organization dedicated to the study of presidential crime. Presidential historian Robert Morrow is the president of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Institute for the Study of Presidential Crime. The LBJ Institute for the Study of Presidential Crime is named after Lyndon Johnson because he murdered President John Kennedy (1963), Henry Marshall (1961) and Sam Smithwick (1952) as well as orchestrating with Israel the murders of 34 people and wounding of 174 other sailors on the USS Liberty as well. Lyndon Johnson also criminally involved the United States in the Vietnam War which resulted in the deaths of over one million Vietnamese and over 58,000 Americans who fought in that undeclared war for a dictatorship that was presented to the American people as a democracy.
The focus of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Institute for the Study of Presidential Crime is not merely on serial murderer and mass murderer Lyndon Johnson, but also on other presidential criminals such as Bill Clinton (and his partner Hillary Clinton), the Bush family, Richard Nixon and Donald Trump. The crimes of other U.S. presidents are of interest to the LBJ Institute for the Study of Presidential Crime.
